A.P. Bio is a truly hilarious show starring Glenn Howerton (from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) as Jack Griffin, a disgraced Harvard professor who’s forced to return to his hometown to teach high school biology.

If you’re wondering how to watch A.P. Bio, either because you’re a fan or you’re just looking for a new show to binge, you’ve come to the right place.

While the description above doesn’t sound like the greatest premise for a comedy, the twist is that Jack has absolutely no interest in doing his job. Instead, he focuses his energy (and class time) on concocting petty revenge schemes against his “enemies.” Joining him is an impressively talented cast of high schoolers, as well as Patton Oswalt as the school’s principal.

While the show enjoys a passionate fanbase, ratings were poor for both season 1 and 2, leading NBC to cancel it. That is, before NBC backtracked and renewed the show for a third season to air exclusively on NBC’s online streaming service.

Although the long-term future of the show is uncertain, hopefully the writers realize this and create a satisfying potential ending in the upcoming season.

How to Watch A.P. Bio Online

NBC created the show, so you can watch both seasons on its website, free of charge. Because NBC specifically ordered the third season for its upcoming streaming platform, it’s likely that you’ll have to sign up for that platform to continue watching the show when the next season releases. The details of the platform are still pretty scarce, but NBC plans to roll it out in mid-2020.

Another option is paying $5.99 per month for Hulu. For some reason, though, only season 2 is available there, which makes it a poor option if you’ve never watched the show before and want to start from the beginning.

Both Hulu and NBC require a U.S. IP address, though, and Hulu has one of the best VPN blockers in the business, so you’ll want to check out our article on the best VPN for Hulu.

Your final option for watching A.P. Bio online legally is Amazon Prime, where you can buy individual episodes for $2.99 or a whole season for $24.99. Both season 1 and 2 are available, and if you’re unfamiliar with the platform, you can read our guide on how to watch Amazon Prime Video.

How to Watch A.P. Bio Online for Free

If you’re not interested in spending your hard-earned cash on watching A.P. Bio, there are also ways to do it for free. We found the show on Couchtuner, but none of the episode links seemed to work anymore. You’ll have more luck with Putlocker, where we were able to stream every episode of both seasons.

Watching A.P. Bio in this way is obviously illegal, though, as it violates the show’s copyright. If you choose to go this route, you should definitely get a VPN from our list of the best VPN providers to protect yourself from any possible legal trouble that could arise.

ExpressVPN is currently at the top of that list, so you can read our ExpressVPN review if you just want to skip straight to the winner.

Additionally, if you’re a fan of the show and want it to see it continue, consider watching it legally, as NBC already canceled it once due to disappointing ratings.

Furthermore, these sites are notoriously dodgy, as they fund their server costs with annoying and often malicious pop-up ads, necessitating the use of a pop-up blocker. If you don’t have one already, head over to our list of the best pop-up blockers.

You should also protect yourself from the malware and cybercrime that infest these kinds of sites, so check out our list of the best antivirus software, as well as our article on the most secure antivirus software.

How to Watch A.P. Bio on Kodi

If you’d rather avoid visiting unreliable and shady streaming websites, Kodi is another option to watch A.P. Bio online for free. If you’ve never heard of the service before or have never set it up yourself, we recommend starting with our Kodi guide

You need to download what’s called repos and add-ons to access copyrighted material on Kodi. You can use our lists of the best Kodi repositories and best Kodi add-ons to find some good ones.

We did a quick check on the Poseidon and Incursion add-ons and found all seasons of A.P. Bio available on both. However, remember that watching TV shows and movies on Kodi is illegal, so have a look at our best VPN for Kodi guide to make sure that you avoid any legal trouble or tracking of your activity while you’re streaming.

A.P. Bio Torrents

A.P. Bio is also available as a torrent download on several sites, but you should bear in mind that torrenting is illegal if you use it to download TV shows or movies, so it’s worth using a VPN to protect yourself from potential legal ramifications.

You can consult our article on the best VPNs for torrenting, if you don’t have a VPN and specifically need one for torrenting. You can also read our NordVPN review, as it’s our favorite VPN for this purpose.

Unfortunately, A.P. Bio’s limited popularity means that it’s somewhat harder to find good torrents for the show than it is for NBC’s more well-known comedy shows, like Brooklyn Nine-Nine (find out how to watch Brooklyn Nine-Nine). The torrents you do find often have very few seeds, so the download will take longer than you might be used to.

You should also be careful when picking a torrent, as sites like Pirate Bay are awash in fake files and malware, so keep an eye out for trusted uploaders or torrents with comments on them.

Final Thoughts

A.P. Bio is an excellent comedy show that, despite poor ratings, continues to be consistently funny. Jack’s petty revenge schemes, complete disregard for his responsibilities and great chemistry with the students makes the show a joy to watch. There are plenty of ways for you to enjoy A.P. Bio online, both for free and on paid streaming services.
