UnoTelly Review

UnoTelly is an ambitious service, it's in fact so ambitious that it has set up shop without bothering to actually have a VPN in place. Things may turn for the better at some point, but till then, avoid this VPN service.

When looking to add to our ever-growing library of VPNs, we’ve come across some odd occurrences. Sites that take your money, but not an actual VPN (read our VikingVPN review for that story), sites that take entire conversations with support to get started, you name it. Then there are some services, like UnoTelly, that simply don’t work at all.

Problems started at signup: we tried several times, with several different email addresses, to get in. We kept getting the same error message each time.

We then decided to contact support. That also didn’t work, with our account apparently being suspended and us needing to contact an admin. Note that there were no instructions given on how to do so.

However, we’re not easily daunted here at CommQueR.com (read our investigative piece on the links between BestVPN.com and Buffered VPN for proof of that), so we tried one more time with another email address.

As if by magic, it worked. By “worked,” though, we meant we got to see a new error message. Apparently, all of UnoTelly’s servers were down.

In fact, everything was down. No matter what we clicked, we got an error message. This problem persisted in the “downloads” section, where we got to see this screen…

…but then when we clicked on anything we saw our old friend again. This time it wasn’t working at all, though.

The upshot of all this seems to be that you’re better off checking out our best VPN article for now if you want a working VPN. We will, of course, update this article if UnoTelly gets its act together. Till then, don’t bother.
